As you arrive on the ‘Valensole Plateau’, the lavender fields open out before your eyes like an ocean of purple / mauve. The best season to admire this spectacle is from mid-June to mid-July.

The village of ‘Valensole’ is also very charming and perfect for a lunch break before continuing on to the ‘Lac de Sainte-Croix’. Many activities can be enjoyed there such as pedalo, kayak tours, paddle-boarding and even tasting lavender honey at the local beekeeper to name but a few. In these wild landscapes you will surely find your happiness.
